Mohamed Salah was spotted playing a prank on Liverpool's match-winner Kostas Tsimikas as the Reds lifted their first FA Cup trophy under boss Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool toppled Chelsea via a penalty shoot-out - the second time that has happened this term, but Salah failed to have any kind of meaningful impact on the tie given he was forced to hobble off with an injury early on in the clash. He was replaced by Diogo Jota mid-way through the first half.

The Egyptian international joined his teammates up the iconic Wembley steps to for the traditional trophy lift but was clearly in a mischievous mood. The Liverpool stars took it in turns to hold the famous piece of silverware aloft, with Tsimikas - the scorer of the winning penalty, waiting patiently at the end of the line.

Just before the Greek international could get the chance to get his hands on the trophy himself, Salah jokingly took it back and appeared as if he was going to send it back the other way. The joke produced plenty of laughs and potentially a brief moment of panic for Tsimikas who may have feared his moment had passed.

After the game, Salah also eased fears that he would be ruled out of the Champions League final later this month against Real Madrid. Pressed for comment as to whether
