Mohamed Salah major new contract claim as Liverpool 'ask about' two alternatives

It's one down seven to go in Liverpool's mad April. The Reds momentarily leapfrogged Manchester City with a 2-0 home win against Watford on Saturday before Pep Guardiola's side regained top spot with a 2-0 win of their own at Burnley.

The Mirror cites a possible extra 12 months on an initial three year contract that may have swung a positive decision from Salah, but there is no suggestion that the deal has already been signed.

Christopher Nkunku

ESPN

Liverpool are understood to be interested in signing Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig this summer. But the attacker is also believed to be a target for Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

The French international has scored 15 goals and served up nine assists in 25 Bundesliga appearances this season and as a result, has a price tag of around £50 million slapped on him.
