Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool injury latest with potential return dates

The final international break of the season is nearing a conclusion and Liverpool will be preparing for a busy run-in. Jurgen Klopp's side are battling on three fronts going into the final weeks of the campaign, with the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League still up for gabs.

The Reds return to action this weekend in the Premier League against Watford in the Saturday early kick-off at Anfield. Plenty of the their squad have been away on international duty with their respective countries, while others have remained at home to either rest or recover from injury.

Below is the latest on the injuries and absentees of the Liverpool squad.

Klopp opted not to risk Mohamed Salah in Liverpool's last final match before the international break in the win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

The Egyptian had only recently recovered from a foot problem, and was as a result not risked for the match at the City Ground.

Since then, Salah has featured for his country in the first leg of their World Cup qualifier against Senegal, and looks to be fit and available when he returns, provided he doesn't suffer another injury issue in the second leg.

Before the international break, Trent Alexander-Arnold was ruled out for 'weeks' with a hamstring injury, and did not feature in the victory over Forest.

As a result, he was withdrawn from Gareth Southgate's England squad as he set aside the two-week break to recover from the problem.

While the chances of Alexander-Arnold featuring against Watford remain unlikely, the right-back provided some hope during the international break with his social media posts showing his step up in recovery.
