Trent Alexander-Arnold's pass before Sadio Mane's goal v Man City was stunning

Liverpool‘s quadruple dream is well and truly alive.

The Reds reached their first FA Cup final in a decade on Saturday afternoon after a 3-2 victory over Premier League title rivals Manchester City.

Liverpool will play either Chelsea or Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium next month for the chance to lift the coveted trophy.

A brace from Sadio Mane and another brilliant header from summer signing Ibrahima Konate secured the win for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Saturday sunshine.

Goals from Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva in the second half made things more difficult than they needed to be for Liverpool, but they got the job done in the end.

The Reds played some scintillating football at Wembley, particularly in the first half where they stormed into a 3-0 lead.

Mane’s second goal just before the half-time interval was a true work of art, with Thiago Alcantara’s assist almost as good as the volleyed finish by the Senegalese forward.

The right-back latched onto a chest down by Mane near the halfway line and instinctively pinged it across the pitch.

Needless to say, it landed right on Diaz’s magical feet…

As well as playing insane crossfield passes, Alexander-Arnold was exceptional in defence against City.

The Liverpool man won 100% of his ground duels against the likes of Grealish, Phil Foden and Bernardo
