MMA Fighter Brutally KNOCKS OUT Referee With Botched Rolling Thunder Kick, The Impact Was Sickening

Luis Gonzalez accidentally knocked out referee Scott Manhardt with a rolling thunder during his fight with Lewis Byrne on Thursday.

'The Assassin' busted out a rolling thunder kick, which is incredibly difficult to pull off accurately, and secured a huge knockout.

Problem is it was a knockout of official Manhardt and he hit the canvas with an almighty thud.

Everyone cage side was caught off guard by the incident and immediately rushed to check on Manhardt.

He ended up being fit enough to referee the rest of the contest.

Gonzalez would go on to lose the fight via decision and Byrne advanced to the final.

Fans have reacted to the footage and they're in awe at how clean the strike was, even though it was planted on a referee.

Another added: "How you gonna kick a ref in the face like that and just walk away without seeing he’s okay lmao."

A third put: "Then he goes for the steel chair and steals the victory!!"

While someone tweeted: "He walked away like he wasn't even sorry lol."

Commentary were left stunned as the Frenchman landed the devastating blow late in round three.

Do you think a rolling thunder is the hardest move to pull off in MMA?
