Gemma Atkinson shares daughter's adorable 'gym walking journey' as she pays Mother's Day tribute

Gemma Atkinson has shared her own unique Mother's Day tribute as she showed her fans her daughter's own little 'gym journey'.

The Hits Radio host is mum to Mia, two, who she shares with her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez. The pair met on the BBC One dance show back in 2017 but didn't begin dating until the start of the next year after going on the show's live arena tour.

Mia was born in July 2019 and Gemma has previously spoken out about her terrifying labour which saw the Bury-born star needing an emergency C-section when doctors realised Mia's heart rate had dropped and the new mum almost died when she lost nearly a litre of blood after suffering a from a haemorrhage.

Gemma then went on to ask her what session she wanted to do today while she continued on cleaning up her toys but did say she 'fancied' a nice stretch today. The former Emmerdale star wrote alongside the video: "She loves coming in the gym. She actually learnt to walk in a gym," Gemma revealed.

She then went on to share various videos of Mia from a baby to now learning to walk in their home gym. It started with Gemma squatting up and down while holding Mia who was bobbing up and down with her. "From Day 1," she wrote on the clip before another showed her exploring the surroundings. "She loved it," Gemma said.

There was then a video of a tiny Mia in her pink babygrow standing up with a little wobble through her body as she
