MK Dons vs Bolton Wanderers LIVE: Early team news, build-up, match update and reaction

Bolton Wanderers will be seeking to end February on a high when they take on MK Dons this afternoon and narrow the gap even further to the League One play-offs.

Wanderers travel to Stadium MK this afternoon as third takes on 10th in League One.

Ian Evatt's side sit five points from the play-offs heading into the encounter, while the Dons are three points from the automatic promotion places.

And Bolton can narrow their deficit to the top six with a win and potentially put themselves that much closer to being in the conversation for the play-offs at the end of the campaign.

Wanderers are in formidable form with eight wins from their last 10 games and are joint-top of the form standings along with league leaders Rotherham United.

But not far behind them in those standings are Liam Manning's side, who have aspirations of playing in the Championship next season.

If Wanderers can pick up three points this afternoon, it would be a massive boost to their hopes of being in the play-offs by the end of April when the regular campaign concludes.

We'll be live throughout the day to cover events at Stadium MK including all the build-up, team news, match action and reaction as Wanderers seek to end February on a high.

The pitch at Stadium MK had looked a bit cut up, judging by images from recent matches.

However, as you can see, the playing surface is looking in fairly good nick according to a picture this morning.

Might we see a fluid encounter as the pitch lends itself to how both teams prefer to play, as a result?
