Missing Liverpool 16-year-old girl could be in Greater Manchester

Police believe a 16-year-old girl who has gone missing from the Liverpool area may have travelled to Greater Manchester. Abi Callaghan, from Everton, has been missing since April 17.

Merseyside Police have shared an appeal to help find the 16-year-old, who is known to have frequented many areas in the north west, including Bolton and Wigan. Extensive enquiries have been made to try and find her since she went missing on Sunday, police say.

She is described as four feet and four inches tall, of a slim build with short pink hair. She is also know to use the name Blu.

Abi was last seen wearing a light blue halter-neck top, brown jacket with fur-lined collar, navy blue jogging pants and black shoes, according to Merseyside Police. The appeal has since been shared by Greater Manchester Police in an attempt to find Abi.

An appeal said: "Please share and help us find missing 16-year-old Abi Callaghan from Everton. Abi has been missing from home since 17 April and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find her.

"She is 4ft 4in tall, slim build with short pink hair and also uses the name Blu. Abi was last seen wearing a light blue halter-neck top, brown jacket with fur-lined collar, navy blue jogging pants and black shoes.

"She is known to frequent various areas throughout the northwest including Wallasey, Wigan, Bolton and Wrexham. Please pass on any sightings of Abi via our form: https://orlo.uk/x4jwM or any other information to Merseyside Police Contact Centre or 101."
