Minutes for Declan John as Bolton Wanderers reserves draw with Preston North End

Bolton Wanderers reserves were denied a win in the 92nd minute as it finished 2-2 against Preston North End in the Central League.

It was Wanderers who hit the front at Lostock, as Daniel Jones converted at the back post with just 10 minutes on the clock. The away side did rally though and found a way back into the game just before the half-hour mark, as Mikey O'Neill was there to finish after Matthew Olosunde had headed Lewis Leigh's free-kick back across goal.

Midway through the second half Bolton restored their advantage, with Matthew Tweedley slotting through Finlay Lockett and the 19-year-old keeping a cool head to beat James Pradic in the PNE goal. However, North End kept going until the very end and substitute Kitt Nelson scored the rebound after Finlay Cross-Adair had seen his initial effort saved.
