'Miles apart' - National media pile in on Man United after Liverpool horror show

Manchester United suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at home to rivals Liverpool on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag's side were looking to bounce back from last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Brighton and go into the international break with a morale-boosting result. But the Reds were well beaten against their biggest rivals and have now lost two of their opening three matches.

Ten Hag will have been concerned by how his team collapsed at Old Trafford, with supporters also booing his substitutions. The Dutchman will now be hoping that new signing Manuel Ugarte will be able to plug some of the gaps Liverpool exposed in midfield.
