Mikey Johnston and Jamie McGrath start as Ireland aim for victory against Gibraltar
Stephen Kenny has looked to his attackers to secure the victory against Gibraltar as Mikey Johnston and Jamie McGrath have been named to start at the Estadio Algarve.
The manager has, once again, named Evan Ferguson to start in attack, while Chiedozie Ogbene will also offer fuel for the forwards in this penultimate Group B encounter in Faro.
It remains to be seen how Kenny will send his team out, however, he appears to have stuck with a four-man defence with Shane Duffy captaining the side in a central positon, playing alongside Liam Scales.
Ryan Manning is rewarded for his substitute appearance on Friday against Greece as the Southampton defender will start at left-back, while Matt Doherty remains on the right side of the four.
Josh Cullen will anchor the midfield in what looks set to be a 4-3-3 formation, with Jason Knight and the aforementioned McGrath also working the centre of the pitch.
Johnston is likely to line out on the left of a three up front with Ogbene on the right of Ferguson, who will lead the line.
Gavin Bazunu remains in goal for the game against the bottom team, who have lost all five of their games played.
