Mikel mocked following Chelsea’s crushing defeat to Arsenal

Chris McHardy, co-host of Mikel Obi’s “ObiOne” podcast, poked fun at former Chelsea and Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Obi following Chelsea’s 5-0 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The heavy loss left Chelsea fans and supporters disheartened, especially after their star player Cole Palmer was absent, impacting the team’s performance.

Chelsea’s humiliating loss at the hands of Arsenal was a stark contrast to the club’s past glories during the Roman Abramovich era, leading to mockery from fans and football pundits. Chris McHardy took the opportunity to bant Mikel Obi, who spent a significant portion of his career with Chelsea. Mikel had a successful stint at Stamford Bridge, winning several major trophies, including the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League.

However, Chelsea’s decline under the new ownership of Todd Boehly, since Roman Abramovich sold the club, has led to considerable disappointment among fans and former players like Mikel Obi.
