Arsenal have some big earners still on the payroll at the club despite them barely featuring under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have made a concerted effort to offload those that do not fit into the Spaniard’s plans.
The 39-year-old is keen to bring down the overall age of his squad and give chances to the youngsters while plenty was spent in the transfer window last year.
Over £100m was splashed out on the likes of Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale and Martin Odegaard - all players targeted to fit the profile Arteta wants to attain.
And Arsenal have seen some high-profile players depart, including Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and, most recently, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
However, all of the names mentioned were released on free transfers and no fee was garnered for their services.
But this summer could be different with three more who could be thrown on the scrap heap, who Arteta might have high hopes of earning the club some actual money.
Three players who are barely used are costing Arsenal a pretty penny on salaries - Nicolas Pepe, Bernd Leno and Mohamed Elneny.
In total, the trio cost the Gunners over £15m a year in wages - something the north London can ill afford at a time when they are desperately trying to get into Europe.
