Mikel Arteta may have already hinted that Nicolas Pepe will start from the left-wing against Brentford today.

The Gunners front four has picked itself in recent times, with Bukayo Saka on the right, Martin Odegaard as no.10, Gabriel Martinelli on the left and Alexandre Lacazette at centre-forward.

However, Martinelli was controversially sent off during the 1-0 win against Wolves last week after two quick-fire yellow cards for fouls in the same sequence of play.

That leaves the left flank open for Saturday afternoon's clash against the Bees, with many fans expecting Hale End academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe to start.
