The footballing powers decided to reschedule Arsenal’s postponed fixture with Liverpool in the middle of the two crucial Premier League games against Leicester City and Aston Villa next week before the international break.
Arsenal will play the Foxes on Sunday in the late 16:30 kick-off, face Liverpool on Wednesday at 20:15 before then travelling to Aston Villa on Saturday for the early kick-off at 12:30. Frankly, the organisation of the three matches gives the Gunners very little preparation and recovery time.
