Leicester City’s next six fixtures compared with Man United, West Ham and Aston Villa

The latest international break is upon us which means that Leicester City can take stock of the season so far and start to look ahead to the end of season run in.

City have had a slower than what would have been expected start to the campaign in the Premier League. They currently sit in 10th place in the table, having picked up 36 points from their 27 games in the league.

Brendan Rodgers has had to deal with a number of injury worries throughout the duration of the campaign. But the excitement of a run in the Europa Conference League and the return of some key players has caused optimism for the end of the season.

The weekend’s Premier League win over Brentford lifted City from 12th place and into the top half of the table. Eyes now looking up the league with City hoping they can put in a late challenge for the European places.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at the fixtures of teams around City, focusing on looking up the table. Here is what lies in front of the teams from 6th to 11th position in the table over the next few weeks.

Leicester City (H), Everton (A), Norwich City (H), Liverpool (A), Arsenal (A), Brentford (H)

With no European football to worry about, the Red Devils’ pure focus will be attempting to finish in the top four this season. Ralf Ragnick’s side are currently four points adrift of Arsenal in that position.

As well as hosting City at Old Trafford in the first game after the international break, United have two tricky away trips on the horizon. A trip to Arsenal comes four days after Man United travel to Liverpool.
