Mikel Arteta showed he’s pure class with a special gesture to an Arsenal fan getting married.

The Spaniard is quickly becoming adored by the Arsenal fan base after leading the club through an electric beginning to the Premier League season.

The club currently sit top of the table having won eight of their nine matches to date – and they have looked good doing it too.

Last weekend, they confirmed many people's beliefs that they are in fact challengers for the title this season by beating Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team 3-2.

Whilst the new signings brought in over the summer transfer window have hit the ground running, with Gabriel Jesus in particular looking like a sensational piece of business.

All things considered; Arteta can do no wrong right now in the eyes of many Gooners.

And a thoughtful moment from the boss to one lucky supporter will only serve to endear him even further to fan hearts.

Twitter user 'Gooner Rue' shared the heartwarming message he received from Arteta on the day of his wedding.

The tweet was captioned: "So. Today I got married. The woman who is now my wife went to the venue to get ready and left me in the hotel to get ready with my boys and our photographer.

"She got me a wedding day gift. This. I actually cried."

The tweet was accompanied with an image of a letter he had received from Arteta himself.

"Dear Reuben & Nicki," Arteta began. "I am sending you my congratulations for your wedding.

"I understand that Reuben, you are a passionate supporter of our club and I believe that this union will be a great partnership as you start the next phase of your life.

"I hope you enjoy your special day; I wish you good health and happiness in your future life together.
