Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul would break boxing‘s biggest pay-per-view record of all time.

That’s the opinion of ‘Iron Mike’ himself, who has once again flirted with the idea of facing the man who calls himself ‘The Problem Child’.

At present, Floyd Mayweather‘s 2015 win over Manny Pacquiao stands as the most lucrative in history, selling a record 4.6 million PPV buys.

But Tyson – who famously came out of retirement to take part in an exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr in November 2020 – argued he could top it alongside his fellow American.

The pair’s representatives had previously held talks regarding a similar event in Las Vegas earlier this year according to reports.

And the Baddest Man on the Planet believes an event of such magnitude would generate record-breaking numbers, saying during a recent episode of his podcast: “I was going to stop but they started offering us some real dough so I’ll just wait until everything is substantial.

“Jake Paul believe it or not is more profitable than the champs.

“Listen, this guy probably brings like eighty million people to the table.

“Him alone, he could do eighty or ninety million.”

But while Tyson would have no qualms about facing the YouTuber, he insisted that he would only be willing to do it as long as the numbers added up right.

Asked if he would fight Paul in the ring, he replied: “Hell yeah – only to break the record though, I’m not going to do it if I’m not going to break the record.

“I love him so much – he’s so smart, right?

“But listen, you know what I worry about? I worry about him getting in trouble before the fight happens.
