Mike Tyson's wife breaks silence on 57 year old accepting Jake Paul fight

Mike Tyson's wife has given her thoughts about her husband, who is 57 years old, agreeing to fight Jake Paul. UFC chief, Dana White is certain that renowned boxer Tyson is properly preparing for his match against social media celebrity Paul after a chat with Tyson's wife.

'Iron Mike' is readying himself for a comeback bout against internet star Paul on July 20, set at the massive AT&T Stadium in Texas. By the time Tyson steps into the ring, he will be 58 years old and there will be a three-decade age difference between him and Paul - Paul wasn't even born when Tyson boasted a record of 45 wins and two losses.

Despite his desire not to see Tyson continue fighting, UFC boss White takes comfort in hearing that the boxing great is taking it seriously. "I love Mike Tyson and I'm not a fan of anybody fighting at our age, but he's a grown man obviously and he's going to do what he's going to do. I talked to his wife a couple of days ago and he's taking it serious and he's training for it," said White in a conversation with Lex Fridman.

White added, "I think Mike Tyson is one of the most unique guys who have crossed over, any of the other fighters from his generation have no way of making money without fighting and Mike Tyson has made a lot of money outside of fighting. Tyson still has that aura that you could be in a restaurant, you'd be like 'Holy f***, Mike Tyson is here'.

"He still has that aura and energy in a room, he makes lots of money outside of the ring but I think he ends up getting these offers that he can't refuse.", reports the Mirror.

Paul has a professional record of 9-1 and his third fight was on the undercard of Tyson's last match, an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. Paul decided to stop chasing
