Mike Tyson's Facebook post in 2020 re-emerges after plane attack
Mike Tyson didn’t take any nonsense from fellow boxers, and as a recent viral video and old Facebook post suggests, he won’t be taking any nonsense from members of the public.
A recent video obtained by TMZ captures Iron Mike showing glimpses of his days in the ring as he lands punch after punch on a fellow passenger on a flight from Florida to San Francisco.
The attack was sparked by what Tyson’s team claim was the aggressive and drunk nature of the other passenger and after he threw a bottle at the former heavyweight champion.
Tyson’s team told TMZ: “Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat.”
Police attended and detained two men involved in the incident, but the man attacked didn’t offer enough information to take any further action against either men.
Now, a Facebook post from Tyson in 2020 has resurfaced on Twitter that goes some way to show how Tyson doesn’t take lightly to the public causing trouble with him.
The tweet, that is below, was shared by Michael Benson and the caption reads: “Mike Tyson has been filmed repeatedly punching a man in the face on a plane after being provoked. He posted this on Facebook back in 2020…”
The image from Facebook shows a picture of Tyson with the caption: “Social media made you all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it.”
A clear message from the former heavyweight champion that he doesn’t appreciate disrespectful people, even if they are a fan.
