Middlesbrough v Cardiff City Live: Score updates as team news confirmed

Cardiff City are back on the road this evening for what is their penultimate away day of the season.

The Bluebirds make the long journey to Teesside to take on a Middlesbrough side that still have ambitions of a top-six finish. Indeed, Chris Wilder's men can go to within two points of the play-off places with a win here, but haven't registered a victory in their last five attempts.

Then again, Cardiff aren't exactly in great form either heading into this contest. The Bluebirds slumped to their third-straight defeat at the hands of Wilder's former club Sheffield United at the weekend, but will nevertheless be keen to finish the season on a high as Steve Morison plans to lay down further foundations this summer.

Morison is without midfielder Joe Ralls, who given his contract situation may well have played his last game for Cardiff. Isaak Davies is also missing, while there are doubts over Leeds United loanee Cody Drameh, who faces a late fitness test. Boro loanee Uche Ikpeazu is ineligible. The game will be broadcast on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
