Michelle Keegan declares 'that's a wrap' as she's left in tears at 'final goodbye'

Michelle Keegan appears to have been left in tears as she said a 'final goodbye over the weekend. The actress has declared 'that's a wrap' as she finished filming her biggest project to date.

Stockport-born Michelle has been hard at work filming as she is set to star in Fool Me Once, the new Netflix adaptation of bestselling author Harlan Coben's book.

She revealed the news of her next big role to her fans and followers back in February with a string of snaps which included a photo of her posing poolside in a bikini with the bestselling book in hand as she declared: "Finally the secrets out!!"

Michelle, who rose to fame after playing Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, will take on the lead role of Maya Stern, who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Obsession's Richard Armitage). But when Maya installs a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she is shocked to see her husband, who she thought was dead.

Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce (Sherwood's Adeel Akhtar) leads the homicide investigation into Joe’s death while grappling with secrets of his own. Meanwhile, Maya’s niece and nephew are trying to find the truth about their mother’s murder several months earlier.

Filming for the thriller has seen Michelle, 36, spending a lot of time back up north away from her husband Mark Wright and their mega multi-million-pound mansion. But it looks like the former soap star will be heading home after filming for Fool Me Once came to an end on Sunday (July 30).

Michelle shared a string of images with her millions of followers on Instagram, with the first showing her sitting behind the scenes in her
