Michael Owen makes 'easy to forget' Leicester City comment as he gives Crystal Palace prediction

Former Man United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has said it is "easy to forget" how good Leicester City can be.

City have had a difficult season in the Premier League, with constant injuries and illnesses hampering their progress after a fifth-placed finish and FA Cup glory last season.

It has been a different tale this year, with the side now 10th in the league table having been dumped out of both domestic cups and the Europa League.

Ahead of the match against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, ex-England striker Owen has given his thoughts on both teams. He thinks the teams will play out a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium.

He said: "Leicester played well at Old Trafford last week, and probably could have won it. It’s easy to forget how good this side can be, it’s just not quite happened for them this season. They’ve still got loads of quality in this team.

"Things keep getting better for Patrick Vieira and Crystal Palace. He must have been delighted with the performance against Arsenal. I think he’s done a brilliant job and this side looks transformed from the one that played last season. There’s youth, flair and pace all across this side. I can’t see a winner in this game. 1-1."
