Michael Owen agrees with two pundits over Man City vs Newcastle United score prediction

Manchester City have no time to dwell on their devastating Champions League elimination as they prepare to get straight back to business against Newcastle on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm).

Having seemingly had one foot in the rearranged Paris showpiece, City instead found themselves on the receiving end of what was, quite simply, the most astonishing European turnaround which means Real Madrid will lock horns with Liverpool for the biggest prize of them all. But how will that impact City moving forward?

Back to domestic matters and City continue to hold a one-point advantage on title rivals Liverpool with each club having four games to play this Premier League season. Mark Lawrenson - BBC Sport

Speaking to BBC Sport, former Liverpool defender Lawrenson said: "I think that there will be an absolutely cracking atmosphere at Etihad Stadium for this game. There is no way the City fans will let their players be down about what happened to them against Real Madrid - plus the title is still at stake and their full focus is on that now.

"As good as Newcastle have been to climb into the top half of the table, there is still a gulf in class between [others and] the two teams. I'm expecting City to win comfortably."

Score prediction: Man City 3-0 Newcastle

Paul Merson - Sportskeeda

Sharing his score prediction, Sky Sports pundit Merson told Sportskeeda: "Man City will be absolutely devastated after the Real Madrid game as they were literally four minutes away from a place in the UEFA Champions League final.
