Micah Richards confronted by PSG boss over CBS Sports comment - 'I'm not happy with you'
Micah Richards has revealed that he managed to ruffle some feathers with his punditry on CBS Sports, including those of Luis Enrique.
During an episode of The Rest Is Football podcast with Gary Lineker, Richards divulged details of a conversation where Enrique expressed his discontent with his opinions. He explained: "I think he's just about speaking to me, because on CBS we have something called 'the bracket'.
"So when you get into the last eight you've got to pick who's going to go through. And PSG, last season, had someone tough, and I just was like, 'I just don't fancy PSG'.
"But he [Enrique] watches the show, CBS, he watches the clips. So on the show, he goes, 'I'm not very happy with you, Micah'. I was like, 'Why?! What's wrong?'. 'You said you were going to go out'."
The lively discussion saw Lineker chiming in with his trademark humour: "I'll say one thing though on your behalf, Micah, at least he knew who you were," which led to a burst of laughter from Richards before he added: "Hey, in the Champions League I'm known.
"I'm a different beast." PSG were pitted against Barcelona in the 2023/24 Champions League quarter-finals, managing only a narrow 3-2 loss at the Parc des Princes but stunningly overcoming the club 4-1 at Camp Nou to secure their place in the semi-finals.

Regrettably, their Champions League journey came to an end when they were defeated 1-0 in both legs by Borussia Dortmund - who were subsequently beaten 2-0 by Real Madrid in the competition's final. After eight games in the Champions League's new league format for 2024/25, PSG ended up in 15th place, with four victories, one draw and three defeats,
