Miami GP: Sebastian Vettel joins Lewis Hamilton with message to FIA

Four-time Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel has publicly mocked new FIA regulations by wearing grey boxers over his racing uniform.

His latest walk through the paddock was as blunt as it could be and has gained social media attention, most particularly a footage of him with a beaming smile.

The German star seemed to laugh before giving a wave in a confused fashion towards the surrounding cameras.

The rules in place now mean that underwear will be checked rigorously by the scrutineers, with failure to comply with the rules possibly resulting in issued fines or even period penalties.

Unsurprisingly, the FIA’s decision to enforce these rules of underwear, and jewellery for that matter, stirred controversy within the world of Formula One racing.

Hamilton, in a stance against the rules, turned up to his press conference with two watches on one wrist and one on the other, whilst hosting lots more bling around his neck.

The seven-time champion was asked whether he agrees with Vettel that he is practically being singled out after the FIA attempt
