Miami GP: How can I watch the race in the UK this weekend?

Formula 1 heads to the US this weekend for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix.

The sport has been planning this one for a good while now and finally this weekend we get to see how exactly it is going to work, with the American audience growing considerably in recent years.

Certainly, it’s going to prove an exciting event for those in attendance and those watching at home, with a new circuit always providing a sense of intrigue regardless of its location.

How can UK fans watch this eagerly-anticipated fifth race of the season on TV, then? We take a look now…

Sky Sports is the main place to be this weekend for every session.

Simon Lazenby will be anchoring the coverage whilst David Croft will be leading commentary with them joined by pundits and reporters like Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brooks and Martin Brundle delivering top insight and detail.

Sky use their Sky Sports F1 channel to cover every session of every race weekend live, from practice on Friday through to the race on Sunday, and have exclusive rights over all but one race this year; the British Grand Prix.

And, with this being a new race, you can expect them to pull out all of the stops with their coverage this weekend.

For those without Sky, Channel 4 show extensive highlights of the race every Sunday evening and their coverage also deserves plenty of credit, with the likes of David Coulthard providing analysis.

You can keep up to date with all the latest F1 news, rumours and results right here at Give Me Sport.
