Meet wife of Boubacar Kamara, Miss Belgium beauty contestant with two million followers

New Aston Villa signing Boubacar Kamara has today checked into his new surroundings at Bodymoor Heath after penning a five-year contract. The 22-year-old will officially arrive from Marseille following the completion of his contract in June.

Kamara will already know a few faces at Villa given he was a teammate of Morgan Sanson’s previously at the Stade Velodrome. The midfielder will also link up with Lucas Digne in the France squad next month after receiving his first call-up by manager Didier Deschamps. Both Sanson and Digne will play a big role in helping Kamara and his family settle.

His wife Coralie Porrovecchio, who once came second in a Miss Belgium beauty contest, will soon fly into Birmingham to join Kamara. The pair have two children together, Leeroy and Kingsley. On Saturday after Kamara’s final game for Marseille, wife Coralie thanked the French club on Instagram alongside her husband and two sons on the pitch following a 4-0 win over Frederic Guilbert’s Strasbourg.

Staying with Coralie, she was once in a TV reality show similar to Big Brother called Secret Story while she continues to model for several brands, with her career taking her to New York before meeting Kamara back in France.

Throughout next season Coralie - who boasts 2.2 million followers on Instagram - will no doubt grow close with Digne’s wife Tiziri and Sanson's partner Marie as she looks to settle into a new life here in Birmingham.

Speaking earlier following his announcement, Kamara said of becoming a Villa player: “When I met with Steven, Christian and Johan in my home I knew Villa was for me. Their ambition, determination to succeed matches my own. I cannot wait for pre-season to get going.”
