Meet 'Tom Booze' - the winemaker who looks like Tom Cruise and runs an award-winning vineyard

Meet Kieron Atkinson, the wine-maker who looks a lot like a certain Hollywood superstar who last night helped close the Olympics in spectacular fashion. Kieron's resemblance to Tom Cruise has earned him the nickname 'Tom Booze' and he's even been mistaken for the action man while out and about with family, DerbyshireLive reports.

He runs the English Wine Project, a brand that supports and champions English and Welsh wine to improve the quality of its production across the county. Kieron's own wine brand, Mills and Hills, is also involved with Naked Wines, a popular wine distributor with more than 300,000 customers across the UK, and he runs the latter project out of a winery in Darley Abbey.

Much like the Top Gun star himself, Kieron - dubbed Tom Booze - also has links to the Armed Forces and served in Afghanistan as part of his nine-year service with the Light Dragoons regiment. After his time with the Army, the 46-year-old completed the only UK wine production course and became Technical Advisor for the UK branch of the Rothschilds.

"There's worse people to look like, but it's still weird. I have plenty of silly jokes and puns to
