Medway Area Sunday League round-up (22/09/24)

Cliffe Woods Colts made it three wins out of three in the Premier Division on Sunday.

An Ashley Poppy brace plus Lewis Nichols saw Colts win 3-1 against Black Eagle Athletic, whose goal came from Josh Wheeler.

Scott Higgins and Alfie Sherwood were the Springhead Park marksmen in their 2-1 victory over Wigmore, whose reply came from Danny Perrier.

In Division 1, Aaron Lorentson, Steve Coote, Oliver Dudman and Jayden Harris all netted in Medway Sportage’s 4-2 triumph over Eagles.

Division 2 The Walnut Tree had George Baker, Jake Green, Nigel Day and Harry Hutson to thank for their 4-0 win against Pentagon.

Goals from Josh Waters and John Crow were not enough as ASK Medway went down 5-2 to Westfield Sole. Reece O’Connor (2), Josh Inkpen, Alex Bernandes and Davey Connolly did the damage for Westfield.

In Division 3, Cainj Sales bagged the only goal of the game for Eagles Gold against Kent Marina.

Michael Adjei (2), Mason Spear, Rich McKee and Jacob Defour ensured the points in Rochester Eagles’ 5-1 win against Rainham 84, for whom Charlie Simmonds replied.

Jack Watkin-Everitt (3), Michael Freeman, Alfie Kilby, Swayze Whale, Declan Fox were the Pegasus 81 marksmen in their 7-2 success at Woodpecker, who replied through Jack Dye and Tom Snow.

Division 4 Medway United won 6-2 against Hempstead Valley as Brandon Berry (3), Jordan Tring (2) and Aaron Scott were on target. William Young and Duke Abel-Chukwvocha replied for Valley.

Faith Bello (2), Pat Heminway (2), Kye O’Brien (2) and Jordan Whelan were all on target in Anchorians Rovers’ 7-0 victory over Walderslade WMC.

Hat-tricks for Ronny Whittaker and Danny Solari saw New Road Athletic run out convincing 7-1 winners against Cross Park. Pierson Timmons completed the scoring
