Medway Area Sunday League round-up (22/02/26)

Jake Chapman had a day to remember for Athletic Bilbowls in the Premier Division.

Athletic won both matches of a double header against Riverside Academy.

Chapman scored all four goals in the first game and then hit a hat-trick in the second match, with Tom Carter, Shaye Bennett and Ben Murphy contributing to a 6-1 win.

In Division 1, Real 60 won 3-2 against Thamesview thanks to Noah Stevens, Callum Jeffies and Josh Inkpen.

Mike Freeman (2), Jack Kilbey and an own goal led Pegasus 81 to a 4-3 win against Swale Madrid, whose goals came from Harrison Watts (2) and Nathan Feaver.

In Division 3, Sam Russell, Rui Abred and Ture Messiam netted in Bredhurst Juniors’ 3-1 victory over The Stumble, for whom Joe Longland replied.

Hempstead United and Woodcoombe Sports & Social shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Mitchel Mannell and Jake Atkins scored for Hempstead while Andrew McGrath claimed both goals for the visitors.

Inter Rainham had Aaron Lorentson (2), Mike Robinson and Michael Simmons to thank for the points in a 4-2 victory over Anchorians Rovers, with Pat Hemingway and Caleb Robrigues replying.

Kent Marina drew 2-2 with Rainham 84, for whom Sam Kenny and Kyle Williams netted. Bradley Forrester and Chris Last were on target for Omega 92 in a 3-2 defeat to River.

Pegasus 81 County and The Gentlemen shared the points in Division 4. Jack Winchester scored for Pegasus with Corben Ager replying in a 1-1 draw.

Harry Mercer, Jack Mercer Kian Fearn and Mitch Shaw netted in Simon Massive’s 4-1 victory over Invicta Allstars, who replied through Bradley Keep.

In the Andy Groves Memorial Cup third round, Jack Downey, James Lundie and Ronnie Porter saw Wigmore Wanderers through to the next round. Luke Capper replied for Rochester.
