Medway Area Sunday League round-up (09/02/25)
Premier Division Cliffe Woods Colts hit double figures as they made it eight wins from eight games.
Colts ran in 10 goals without reply against Rainham Kenilworth 2 with Bobby Noye (4), Ashley Poppy (2), Dean Hughes (2), Ozan Hassan and Luca Gorse all on the scoresheet.
Springhead Park and Black Eagles Athletic shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Ainsley Linton scored both goals for Park, with Ash Trigg and Josh Brown replying for Athletic.
In Division 1, Athletic Bilbowls suffered their first league defeat, 1-0 to Riverside Academy as Shaun Johnson’s goals proved the difference.
Borstal Wanderers and FC Catalans drew 3-3. Vitor Guerra, Tony Ellis and Tiago Oliveira scored for Borstal with Jordan Gower and Sam Heard (2) the FC Catalans marksmen.
Medway Sportage hit 10 without reply against Swanscombe Tigers as Will Halliday and Caleb Dyche both scored hat-tricks with Fin Lumpkin, Oli Dudman, Mitch Smith and Harry Davenport completing the scoring.
In Division 2, Bredhurst lost 7-1 to Eccles Sunday with Toby Lindley (3), Steve Armstrong, Shaun McManus, Matthew Rustik and an own goal doing the damage.
Reece Germano claimed both goals in Caspian Tigers’ 2-2 draw with The Walnut Tree, whose goals came from Shay Cullen and Nigel Day.
Tom Denny, Finlay Rushton and Brian Caper were on target for Sporting Club Libra in their 3-1 victory over Westfield Sole.
In Division 3, Eagles Gold shaded Rainham 84 5-4 thanks to Joe Camber, Teddy Ward, Bailey Hooker (2) and Callum Marshall. Tyle Boreham claimed all four goals for Rainham 84.
Pegasus 81 won 13-2 at Hempstead United with goals from Swayze Whale (5), Jack Watkin-Everitt (4), Alfie Kilby (2), Michael Freeman and Josh Fleming.
