Medway Area Sunday League round-up (23/02/25)

Springhead Park Reserves won a marathon penalty shoot-out on Sunday.

In the fourth round of the Andy Groves Memorial Cup, Park drew 2-2 with Pegasus 81 Reserves in 90 minutes before winning 11-10 on spot-kicks.

Penalties were also needed for Dockyard United, who had drawn 4-4 with The Walnut Tree United.

Joe Simpson and Ozan Hassan were the Cliffe Woods Colts marksmen in their 2-1 victory over Chatham Town SR FC, who replied through Max Cutler.

Pegasus 81 had Alfie Kilby (2), Ben Townsend (2), Louie Garlinge and Swayze Whale to thank for their 6-1 win over Eccles Sunday.

FC Catalans won 2-1 at Rainham Kenilworth with goals from Ryan Fuller and Alex Woodhouse.

Westfield Sole won 3-2 on penalties against The Stumble, after Liam Baker’s goal was matched by The Stumble’s Ash Bax in a 1-1 draw.
