Medway Area Sunday League round-up (07/12/25)
River moved into the top three in Division 3 of the Medway Area Sunday League with a high-scoring win on Sunday.
They triumphed 9-4 against Anchorians Rovers with hat-tricks from Jack Goldsmith and Leon Mitchell plus goals by Tony Ellis, Morgan Spiers and Shane Pay. Will Young (2), Thomas Macken and Jacob-John Walker replied for Anchorians.
Mitchell Mannel (2) and Michael Mannel were on the scoresheet in Hempstead United’s 3-3 draw with Omega 92, for whom Lee Gamble (2) and Steven Noble netted.
Nathan Swan (3), Ben Tubbs, Jai Seth and Aaron Jeffreys were all on the scoresheet for Kent Marina in their 6-1 win against Palmerston Athletic, Matthew Barnes with their reply.
Doubles from Sam Wilson and Tyler Boreham ensured the points for Rainham 84 against Woodcoombe Sports & Social.
In Division 4, Black Eagles Warriors had Dan Morley and Sam Kelliher to thank for the 2-0 win against Great Lines United.
Jake Payne, Martin Phillips, Will Mitchell and Oluseyl Oyesola were on target as Medway United West won 4-0 over Invicta Allstars.
Corben Ager (2) and Jordan Robinson were on target in The Gentlemen’s 3-0 victory over Simon Massive.
In Division 2, Brad Killick’s brace, including a penalty, saw ASK Pentagon win 2-1 over New Road Athletic, for whom Billy Rogers scored.
JonJoe Langley’s goal was not enough for The Co-op Cobras as they went down 2-1 to Rochester Eagles after goals by Mason Spear and Toby Williams.
The points and eight goals were shared as Medway Town drew 4-4 with Black Eagle Athletic in Division 1. Alfie Blowers (3) and Eli Pennant scored for Medway.
Liam Baker (2) and Rob Lloyd netted in Real 60’s 3-0 win over Caspian Tigers.
