Medway Area Sunday League round-up (03/11/24)

Ask Medway won the Junior Challenge Trophy Final after a dramatic finale against Springhead Park Reserves.

Medway equalised with the last kick of the game to make it 2-2 before going on to win the resulting penalty shoot-out 4-3.

Jae Humphrey and Josh Waters were on target for Ask Medway with Harjinder Shokar and a Bradley Goldstone penalty replying for Springhead.

Coop Cobras had Tagen Jarvis (2) and Jonjoe Langley to thank for their 3-1 Andy Groves Memorial Cup first round win over Medway United, whose goal came from Aaron Scott.

Cross Park lost 8-0 to New Road Athletic as Danny Davies (3), Ronny Whittaker (2), Danny Solari, Joseph Girt and Omar Walker all netted for the victors.

In league action, Division 5 Woodcoombe won 5-1 against Deagal with goals from Kyle Marriot (2), Jordan Spicer, Alex Forster and George Baker-Moran.

Alex Lloyd scored for The Simon Massive and Medway United West had Max Thorne on the scoresheet during their 1-1 draw.
