Me season 2 on Apple TV+: Showrunner talks future of superhero drama

Me has launched on Apple TV+ with a refreshing coming-of-age tale, leaving fans questioning if it will return for another season.

In this live-action family adventure series, audiences follow 12-year-old Ben, portrayed by Lucian-River Chauhan, as he navigates typical school life challenges like bullies and first crushes.

Unexpectedly, Ben develops superpowers and discovers he can shape-shift; however, it's only through the guidance of his step-sister Max (Abigail Pniowsky) that he begins to comprehend the gravity of such extraordinary abilities.

The big question on viewers' minds now is whether Apple TV+ will host a second season of Me.

The entire first season of Me has freshly arrived on Apple TV+, allowing members to binge all 10 episodes at once.

Even though a follow-up season hasn't been officially announced, Me's creator Barry L Levy seems to have long-term visions for the series.

Levy, in an exclusive chat with Express regarding the future of Me, confidently expressed: "Oh yeah. I have all the plans laid out."

"When I walked into Apple from day one it was: 'I want to build the Apple Cinematic Universe."

"'And I want to tell you about these heroes from the time that they were adolescents to the times where you're going to see them grow into who they're going to become.'".

"He maintains that his intention and dream for the show were clear from the start."

Fans of the show will have to wait for an official confirmation before they can expect a second season of Me.

The lead role of Ben Vasani is played by Lucian-River Chauhan, known for his roles in the 2021 thriller Encounter and Netflix's adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

He is joined by Abigail Pniowsky from Arrival as Max Davis, Dilshad Vadsaria from Second
