McFaul returns to panel as Glass starts for Derry

Ciaran McFaul returns to the Derry squad for their Ulster championship opener against Fermanagh in Brewster Park, while Conor Glass been named to start despite limping off in the recent Division 2 final.

Glen midfielder Glass, an All-Star in 2022, departed with an injury in Derry's seven-point loss to Dublin in the second tier league decider but has been named in the starting line-up for Saturday's Ulster SFC quarter-final.

His Glen teammate McFaul, who spent the past year in Boston before returning in March, is named as part of the panel for Saturday evening.

Another member of the 2022 All-Star team, Chrissy McKaigue, returns to the starting XV, having missed the Division 2 final through injury.
