McDonald’s issue one-day deadline to anyone playing Monopoly giveaway

Fast food fans playing McDonald’s Monopoly prize giveaway have been issued with a one-day deadline before the popular promotion ends. The sticker-based game is coming to an end - so you’ll need to know how long you’ve got to ‘spend’ any wins.

The promotion was launched back in 2005 and works in a similar way to the classic Monopoly board game. Customers over the age of 18 have the chance to win prizes by collecting game pieces from menu items such as fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurries.

Each of the participating menu items have a peel off sticker where customers can instantly win free food items and bigger prizes or collect property pieces of the same colour for a bigger prize via the MyMcDonald’s App.

The McDonald’s Monopoly competition ends tomorrow, Tuesday, October 18, meaning those playing have only got a little over 24 hours to collect any additional stickers from their meals.

Food prizes can be redeemed until 11.59pm on Tuesday, November 15. You can redeem it in any restaurant either at the front counter or a drive-thru.

The prizes that come from collecting the Monopoly properties have the same deadline, and it’s always worth adding the code into the restaurant’s app to see if you’ve been successful. There is also a double peel this year where extra stickers are hidden within the app, so make you check your findings once they’re yours.
