Mayo v Galway first of six televised league games on RTÉ

RTÉ Sport will begin live coverage of the Allianz Leagues with the clash of Mayo and Galway in Football Division 1 on Saturday, 28 January.

The match will be broadcast from Castlebar with a 7.30pm throw-in, with the match available on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.

Kevin McStay will take charge of his first league game against the Tribesmen on the opening weekend of the competition, the first of six Saturday GAA Live broadcasts during the Allianz Leagues.

RTÉ Radio 1 will also provide updates from matches across each week of the football and hurling competitions, while RTÉ Online will keep you updated with live blogs, reports and reaction

The first televised hurling game follows seven days later as Cork and Limerick clash at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Saturday, 4 February.

The Division 1 hurling action continues on Saturday, 11 February when the All-Ireland champions meet Clare at the Gaelic Grounds.

Attention turns to Division 2 football the following week for the clash of Derry and Meath in Owenbeg on Saturday, 18 February. That game has an earlier throw-in of 5pm.

Kerry, led by David Clifford, will face Armagh on Saturday, 25 February in Tralee, also at 5pm.

The RTÉ Sport cameras will be back in Derry on 4 March for the anticipated visit of Dublin again with another early evening throw-in.

Highlights will be broadcast on League Sunday each weekend throughout the competition, as well as live commentaries across Saturday Sport and Sunday Sport on RTÉ Radio 1 along with updates on the RTÉ News app and RTÉ.ie/Sport.
