Maurice Sokari takes lead for new sports label

Yiko Plus, an emerging force and innovator in athleisure apparel, is proud to announce the appointment of Maurice Sokari Fubara as its new Creative Director.

With a stellar reputation within the fashion and design industries, Maurice will lead the brand’s creative direction, overseeing product design, marketing campaigns, and overall brand strategy.

Maurice brings with him years of experience and a forward-thinking approach to Yiko Plus.

He currently serves as the Creative Director and Partner at Yikodeen, Nigeria’s leading safety company in oil & gas, specialising in the production of safety boots, combat boots, and back-to-school shoes.

His previous roles include Image Consultant at Payporte and Studio Producer at Souk to name a few.

Maurice has been recognized for his influence in fashion, being listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 and Times as one of the most prominent people in fashion. He has also been featured in Essence to discuss the future of fashion.

Now, Maurice is ready to drive the next chapter of growth and innovation at Yiko Plus, ensuring the brand continues to meet the ever-evolving needs of its active and style-conscious community.
