Massive boost for Pitso and Al Ahly ahead of much-anticipated Sundowns clash
Egyptian giants Al Ahly confirmed that first-choice goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy has returned from injury, as he took part in Monday's training session.
"Mohamed El Shenawy, Al Ahly's football first-team goalkeeper, took part in Monday's training session at El Tetsh Stadium after recovering from his injury," the club said in a statement.
"Our goalkeeper completed his recovery program and is now fit to participate in the team's upcoming matches."

The 33-year-old suffered a hamstring injury while on national duty with Egypt during the African Cup of Nations in January.
The goalkeeper played a crucial part in the Pharaohs setup but saw his tournament cut short after picking up the injury in Egypt's last 16 victory over Ivory Coast.
Nearly a month has passed and the goalkeeper's return could not have come at a better time for Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane.
Before coming face-to-face against his former club on Saturday (21:00), Mosimane will see his charges run out against Misr Lel Makkasa in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday (20:00).
