The Blues head to St. James' Park looking to claim their first Premier League win since they beat Arsenal at Goodison Park at the start of December.
Recent Premier League defeats to Norwich City and Aston Villa have left the Blues four points above the drop zone and in 16th place in the table.
But Holgate believes the time has come for his side to show their quality by winning games in a bid to move the Blues up the table and away from danger.
“No, definitely not. It’s not only the result that has got us started but the performance as well,” he said following the
