Martyn Waghorn and Matty Godden reveal the worst dressed Coventry City player

Despite sitting 11th in the Championship at present, Coventry City are still only four points outside the play-off places.

It would take a big swing to see them finish in the top six at this stage, but never say never in the Championship.

With that being said, we recently had Sky Blues forwards Martyn Waghorn and Matty Godden on our YouTube Channel FLW TV to discuss their Coventry City teammates at length.

During the video, the pair revealed the worst dressed players in the Sky Blues dressing room and without wanting to give anything away, look away Dominic Hyam!

“There’s a few up there,” Waghorn said with a smirk when asked for his worst dressed teammate.

“I’m gonna chuck a few under the bus here.”

“Jordan Shipley – horrific. Josh Eccles – horrific.”

“Todd Kane – average at best. Dom Hyam – average at best.”

“That’s as far as I’m gonna go.”

Matty Godden then jumped in, confirming one of the men that Waghorn had name dropped was the worst dressed at the club.

“Probably Dom. Some of the gear Dom comes in in is questionable.” Godden added.

“Fadz (McFadzean) has tried taking him under his wing bless him but I’ve gotta say Dom.”

There seemed to be something really telling about the way Martyn Waghorn and Matty Godden spoke about their teammates.

To discuss them so openly and constantly with smiles on their faces suggests that there is an excellent dressing room atmosphere at Coventry City.

We certainly can’t comment on any player’s fashion, so we’ll have to take Waghorn’s and Godden’s word here on this one.

We’re not sure that Dominic Hyam will be too happy, though!
