Martin Lewis' MSE team's warning to all Amazon customers ahead of Prime Day

Next week, Amazon Prime Day will return for the second time this year. July's Amazon Prime Day event saw thousands of items reduced, with flash deals on Echo Dot, Echo Pop and Fire TV Stick devices proving particularly popular.

Ahead of the next Amazon Prime Day, which launches on Tuesday, October 10, and ends on Wednesday, October 11, Martin Lewis' team at MoneySavingExpert (MSE) has named some of the best discounts you can get without having to wait.

According to the MSE team, there are some offers you shouldn't hang around for, and can buy now. However, other items are set to be drastically reduced, so the team has warned it's best to hang fire on purchasing those until the official event launches.

Amazon is keeping most of the deals close to its chest, but the experts at MSE have said: "The retail giant is keeping most details well-guarded and isn't likely to reveal many of its deals in advance, but... Amazon has given us a few promises and teasers."

The team at MSE have said shoppers can expect the "lowest prices of the year" on selected products from brands such as Barbie, Samsung mobile, Sony, Western Digital and Xiomi. So, if you're after an item from these brands, for winter birthdays or to put away ahead of Christmas, it could be worth checking out these deals during the sale.
