Martin Lewis issues urgent meter reading warning ahead of major price change

Martin Lewis has issued an urgent warning for people to check their energy meters ahead of a major price change.

The money-saving expert reminded his followers on social media that many people across the country should do a new meter reading ahead of the changes to the energy price cap. However, people using smart or prepayment meters will not be required to do a reading.

Take a pic of the meter for belt 'n' braces."
