Martin Dubravka seeks immediate Newcastle transfer talks as confused Celtic target wonders 'what is the plan for me?'

Unsure Celtic target Martin Dubravka admits he wants immediate answers from Newcastle United after they signed two goalkeepers with his future up in the air.

The 35-year-old – who impressed at Euro 2024 for Slovakia – is seeking clarity in the Toon after they secured a double deal with both Nottingham Forest’s Odysseas Vlachodimos plus Birmingham City star John Ruddy. The veteran keeper reportedly held talks with Brendan Rodgers' side last month, however, the Premiership champions have cast their net wide in the search for a new goalkeeper.

Speaking after the heartbreaking loss to England, Dubravka said: "I have no idea. I have seen they are talking with other goalkeepers. I need to speak with the manager first. What is the plan for me? What is my future? I don’t know if they want me to stay or not. It is difficult for me, because I have been focussed on my job with the national team."
