Martin Boyle earns Rangers transfer endorsement but Ibrox hero adamant Celtic are a non starter

Rangers should be making an "aggressive" move to land Martin Boyle with his future in Saudi Arabia is in doubt after his Al-Faisaly side were relegated from the top division, claims Craig Moore.

The Australia international moved left Hibs in a £2.5 million deal in January after 14 goals in the first half of the season including a stunning hat-trick against Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final. The season collapsed for the Easter Road side following his exit under Shaun Maloney, but they included a buy-back clause in his contract when he left Leith with the winger stating he would be keen to come back to Hibs one day.

The dream big-money move has turned into a nightmare for the Socceroo as Al-Faisaly were relegated with a whimper winning just one win in their last ten games of the Saudi Pro League. Boyle will be looking to return to a top league to build towards Australia's World Cup Finals campaign in Qatar later this year.

And Moore thinks Rangers would be the perfect destination for his fellow countryman. He reckons Hibs will need to make sure they have their buy-back clause in black and white to avoid a Scottish Premiership bidding war.

He told the Go Radio Football Show when asked where Boyle could end up: " Celtic, no, Rangers, definitely could be a possibility. I think Rangers are in a situation where they might be looking at a right winger in terms of strengthening the squad.

"Hagi is still injured, I know Wright and Sakala have played there but there are not natural winger types. Someone like Martin Boyle, who has proven himself, that for me would be very interesting and I'm sure Rangers will be monitoring the situation.

"I hope for Hibs sake that agreement is in black and white. Things can change
