Married At First Sight UK fans say the same thing as groom mistaken for 90s boyband member

Married at First Sight enthusiasts were left convinced that one of the grooms, Nathan Campbell, 24, might have been a former '90s boyband star after the second episode of the new series aired on Tuesday (September 17).

On his quest to find the ultimate romantic match, Nathan is participating in the E4 show to track down his perfect partner.

As the youngest participant in the 2024 series of Married At First Sight UK, Nathan may be youthful but he's already eager to lay the foundations for a family of his own.

Speaking to Channel 4, Nathan expressed certainty about what he seeks in his dream spouse: petite, humorous, dedicated to family, and someone who upholds traditional family values.

In a clip introduced to fans via the MAFS UK Instagram account, Nathan describes himself as "I'd make the perfect partner because I'm chill, easy-going, and a bit of a free spirit," reports OK!.

He added that his ideal counterpart would be someone that his parents would approve of: "I think my parents would love me to be with someone who's really family-orientated, keeps me on my toes a little bit, gets me going in the right direction."

Elaborating on this topic, Nathan pointed out: "The first thing I notice about someone is probably their smile or their eyes. My perfect date is doing something really fun, I like doing something really active, whether it's bowling, golf, or anything like that."

Regarding his impending nuptials, he revealed his jitters: "On my wedding day, I'll be most nervous about if she likes me, or if I stumble on my words."
