Married At First Sight on E4: The brides and grooms in this year's cast

Married At First Sight UK is back on our screens tonight (Monday September 18), as a new cast of singletons hope to find their happily-ever-afters.

The experimental reality show sees experts pair couples together based on their compatibility and desires. They meet for the very first time at the altar, diving deep into married life from the words 'I do.'

The new series will feature 36 drama-filled episodes - the biggest Married At First Sight stint yet. Returning to keep an eye on the couples are experts Melanie Schilling, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas

Married At First Sight will air on E4 every week day, from 9pm. In the first few episodes, we get to meet the new brides and grooms and drink in the excitement of the glitzy wedding ceremonies.

Next is the honeymoon period - literally - where our couples are whisked away for a romantic break as they learn more about their new partners. But once the excitement has subsided, it's time for their relationships to be put to the test as they move in together.

Each week, the pairs will come under fire - not just from the experts, but from their fellow MAFs stars during explosive dinner parties. These are followed by commitment ceremonies, where couples choose whether they want to continue or quit the process.
