Mark Williams' 'shot of the tournament' contender vs Judd Trump was snooker art
Welsh snooker star Mark Williams pulled off a magnificent shot on the yellow to bring him within four frames of Judd Trump.
He hardly missed a shot in this session as he looked to improve after a disappointing first session – the moment that had everyone in awe was when he nailed a long rocket on the yellow which then set him up perfectly to pot the green.
In what has been deemed one of the best performances of his career, The Welsh Potting Machine has now edged closer and brought it back to 13-11 down in his World Championship semi-final.
John Higgins and Ronnie O’Sullivan are the two other players in the opposing semi-final. The six-time world champion is currently ahead in their last-four meeting.
The exhilarating potting display shown by Williams revived memories of his three world titles and really put fans on the edge of their seats as he picked off balls in the session.
Williams found himself trailing 7-1 following their first session and this deficit shortened to 11-5 after their second session. Trump opened the third session with a 120 break which meant Williams fell 12-5 behind.
Here comes Williams!
